About categorizing documents in Inspect

Use this feature to automatically apply custom coding to documents based on keyword hits in specific fields. To categorize documents, specify the search field, search term, destination field, and destination value according to the structure defined in the provided CSV template.

When you run the Document Categorization job, the system searches for the search term in the search field and then codes the destination field with the destination value for all documents that contain keyword hits.

Custom document categorization helps you search for documents using the coded values. It also lets you narrow the data set more effectively and break down the data for analysis and review.
